Helicopter Rescue
One day, Judice was taking photos of wild animals in Africa. When he was taking photos of birds, the helicopter driver lost control. Judice crashed in the dry grasslands, on top of an elephant herd.
“Aaaaaaaargh!” screamed Judice. “Elephants are really hard.”
The helicopter burst into flames. Judice ran out of the elephant herd to the nearby tree. He had a gun and a lighter in his pocket.
When he saw a 20 cm grey, wrinkly lizard coming, he ran as fast as he could. He tripped up on a rock, then he lifted it up. There were lizards everywhere. He picked up dry grass and lit it. The lizards were so fast, he could only catch one. He cooked the wrinkly lizard and ate it. “That was delicious,” he said.
When he got tired, he slept in a rotten brown tree. When he woke up, he heard a loud noise. He looked up. Hooray. It was a helicopter. He fired his gun into the sky.
The pilot let down a long rope ladder which he climbed up. When he was safely in the helicopter, he said “Thank you” to the man.
New Zealand's Olympic Legends
The Olympic Games 2012
I was so nervous and excited.
Beep! The siren went. Off they went. NZ was coming last.
Next, they picked up some speed. I felt great and proud.
Their oars went 'psh, psh'.The water was crystal clear.
They sped past everyone and they were winners.
I felt proud of them.

Hi. My name is Jasmine. My favourite subject at school is art. I play netball and my position is centre. My team didn't do very well this year, but I won a trophy and a medal. The trophy was for the most valuable player and the medal was given to everyone in the team. It had a person shooting a goal on top of it. I am very proud of my medal and trophy.
